If you have ever been a part of a team you will appreciate the time and effort that goes into performing the syllabus in unison while remaining in formation! There are many benefits to being in a team. Take a look the 10 reasons we love teams!
There is a sense of belonging and camaraderie that comes from the team experience. Team members share a special bond while working towards a common goal. The culture of your club will also be impacted as each member values their own achievements as well as the achievements of others.
When you make the commitment to be a part of a team others will be relying on you to know the syllabus well and to practice your part for the sake of the team. As you are held accountable to your team mates you will see improvement in your physie due to regular class attendance and team rehearsals.
Being a part of a team requires determination to work together. Not only will others encourage you when you face challenges but you will recognise moments where you can encourage others also!
4. Great Memories
Anyone who has been a part of a team will undoubtedly have memories of laughter in class, elation at a win and plenty of photos that will remind you of your hard work, friendship and celebrations!
For those who are new to physie (or have been away from the stage for some time) teams will ease you back into performing. You are with your team mates in the lead up to the performance as well as together on stage!

Dealing with nerves and performing in front of an audience gets a little easier with practice. Gain extra time on the stage developing your confidence by competing in a team.
